Men's Ministries
Men doing ministry with and for men and the community--that's what Men's Ministries is all about. We are about more than the traditional service club, "knife and fork" kind of meetings. Not that those don't have a place. They do, but Men's Ministries is just what its title says: about ministry.
Community Computer Center Poised to Open In conjunction with efforts to provide mentoring and a community service, Pikesville SDA Church's Men's Ministry has thrown full support behind the soon to open Pikesville Seventh-day Adventist Community Learning and Resource Center. This may prove to be one of the strongest rung in the effort to establish our very own church school even as we are developing a homework center and resource library. The demand in our community and congregation for such a service is high and we anticipate wide usage of this invaluable service.
Currently, we are set up for 20 PC and 4 Mac student workstations, a generous donation from Lockheed. Our IT team will administer finishing touches to the center, including installing ether networking, power distribution, software installation, and testing. We are also putting together our mentorship/instruction schedule and assembling our support staff. Pikesville is poised to become a force to be reckoned with and a presence that would be sorely missed in our community. We are excited about this venture and welcome all who want to be a part of this rewarding effort.
